We are both self confessed foodies and have a passion for real food that tastes fantastic and which can be used in everyday cooking. We believe Australia has some of the best food products in the world and we are committed to promoting Australian gourmet foods.

Sandra was the store manager of her family owned supermarket in Perth which sold many gourmet Australian foods. Australian Food Merchants began from frequent visits to the Margaret River and Pemberton regions of WA in search of premium foods that reflect the philosophy of Australian Food Merchants. Other regions throughout Australia are constantly being sourced for premium products suitable for the Australian Food Merchants clientele.
