The Australian Food Merchants Web Site is owned and operated by Australian Food Merchants ABN 27 660 998 524. By completing the registration process and completing a transaction, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Australian Food Merchants maintain the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and any amendment will become effective immediately.
All orders are subject to our terms and conditions of sale as follows:
1. Orders are to be paid in full prior to dispatch of goods. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, and Bankcard), Bank cheque or Australia Post money order. Personal cheques are not accepted.
2. We do not sell or supply your details to any third party under any circumstances. All credit card details are destroyed after each credit card transaction and card details are NOT kept on record.
3. Goods purchased by Bank Cheque or Money Order will only be dispatched once the funds have cleared (approximately 5 working days). Bank Cheques and Australian Money Orders are to me made out to Australian Food Merchants.
4. Goods cannot be sent to a PO Box address. All goods must be sent to a street address.
5. Out of Stock Items/Backorder. If a product is out of stock we will place it on backorder for you. We will contact you prior to dispatch of the item. You will not have to pay additional postage for the item.
6. Damaged Goods/Incorrect Choice. Australian Food Merchants does not accept any responsibility for goods received that are broken or damaged in transit or any items that are ordered incorrectly. However, goods may be exchanged or replaced at the discretion of Australian Food Merchants.
7. Postage and Handling. The postage charges that appear when you check out is the actual postage charge. There is no handling fee or other hidden charges.
8. Overseas orders. Unfortunately a shipping price cannot be quoted online. We will contact you to discuss the shipping prices and your choice of shipping method. The price of shipping your parcel depends on the weight and destination.
9. Your continued use of this Web Site after amendment constitutes an agreement to abide by and be bound by those Terms and Conditions, as amended.
10. The products and services offered for sale by Australian Food Merchants are not available to persons under the age of 18 years old and any other persons who are legally prohibited from entering into binding contracts.
11. Any party engaged in illegal activities involving the use of this Web Site will be subject to civil and criminal sanctions and prosecution.
12. Australian Food Merchants does not guarantee that it will be able to prevent any illegal or inappropriate use of this Web Site, nor that it will give notice of any illegal or inappropriate use of this Web Site.
13. Many goods and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% if delivered in Australia. The GST-inclusive price that appears on the site is the price you pay.
14. It is a violation of the law to place orders under a false name or with a fraudulently obtained credit card. Fraudulent ordering will be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.
